Our cat has been missing since yesterday morning (Friday 9/10), I know its not a long time but its very unusual for her.
She is a short haired tortoiseshell cat, mainly dark brown with patches of tan and white, and she is wearing a gold glittered collar. She has disappeared from the area of Colseed Road, Symonds Way and Cransley Rise, although she tends to follow people so could have followed someone to the shop, bus stop or letter box without us realising.
PLEASE, PLEASE let me know if you see her, she will probably be hiding under some bushes, or may have been shut in someone's shed by accident.
Thank you.

I know it can be a very upsetting time when your animals go missing, you must try to stay positive.

A couple of years ago my cat went missing around mawsley, she was missing for around 11-12 weeks. We had tried everything, vets, put posters on websites, regular phonecalls etc, even the council to see if her body was found ( keep any recoverys reported by their staff on record) .

After no news, sightings etc for several months,we had just given up hope.A month later as we were taking the dog for a late night walk, she just appeared at the other end of the village to where we live.I think she may have wondered too far and got lost. She was slightly thinner, very hungry, and happy to see us and the dog.

Good luck and stay positive.

Hi, thanks both of you for your comments.
We have been walking round Mawsley with our dog ( who she loves) calling her name, and at night driving slowly round the roads calling her name so that we could cover a larger area, trouble is although the roads were empty, we suddenly spotted a police car following us up and down the streets, so that wasn't such a good idea!
She always stayed close to home, but sometimes if she saw us walking off somewhere she followed us, she followed my son on his paper-round dodging in and out of gardens but always keeping him in sight, she has also followed us to the shop and back, also the dentist's where she sat outside on the bank watching us through the dentist's window until we came out, another time when we had to catch the bus to kettering to pick up our car she followed us to the bus stop although we tried to shoo her back home, when we got back over an hour later we drived by the bus stop in case she was still there, we called her name and could hardly believe it when she came out of the bushes after waiting there for us.
I keep hoping that she followed my son to the shop, and he hadn't noticed, and that she got lost and someone has taken her in. Its awful though to think that we won't find her as our pets are part of our family, we also have her 2 kittens that were born last year who must be missing her too.
Unfortunately, I don't think we will find her now (although we will keep trying) as another cat of ours went missing a few years ago when we had just moved here and we never found her Crying or Very sad

Hi, does your cat have a white tip on it's tail. If so, I have seen the same one twice last week.

I think its called the C31 the road which leads out of the village down to the A43.

I saw it last Tuesday and Wednesday by the roadside. It looked lost and timid and disappeared into the hedges just as you turn left out of the village about 10 yards from the junction on your left. The second time was dark but I am certain it is the same cat. Sorry i've been away and thought I would check out the forum tonight. Please contact me 07737980632 and I can show you where I saw the cat last.

Hi, thank you so much for taking the time to post a reply, but unfortunately she doesn't have any white on her tail, its dark brown and a bit stripey. She's been missing over 3 weeks now, and its awful not knowing where she is or if she's been injured (or worse) Crying or Very sad but thanks anyway

I know I have posted here previously but again yesterday I saw a cat similar to yours going along the fence where the takeaway vans park. I stopped the car and this cat definitely had no white tip on its tail. It may be I got it wrong last time because of the poor light. Please at least try visiting there and calling her/him. What is the cats name just incase?

Regards

Happy Mummy

Hi, its been 3 months now since our cat disappeared, and so I'm posting again just in case anyone may have seen her and not realised she was lost. Happy mummy said she thought she had seen her on several occassions by the first entrance to Mawsley coming from the A43 and also near the layby where the fish and chip van parks, we keep going round that area calling her but without any luck so far. Please keep a look out for her and if you think you may have seen her please let me know, thanks very much
